• Mauricio Valadrian

    Mauricio was born and raised in Colombia and has been working in the United States as a filmmaker and media creative for over two decades, much of which was spent in broadcast television, developing communications strategies for underrepresented communities. As a Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Accessibility Consultant, he works with international organizations in both the private and governmental sectors trying to find relevance and actionable intentionality in an increasingly pluricultural landscape.

    Mauricio is a fierce advocate for Outdoor Equity. He has had the privilege of serving on several local and national non-profit boards, helping families with young children from all backgrounds connect to nature and build community across difference.

    Currently, he serves as Vice-Chair for The Oregon Conservation and Recreation Advisory Committee.

  • Eva Valadrian

    Eva Valadrian (she/her) grew up in the Pacific Northwest and has worked as a multicultural marketing and communications strategist for over a decade. She specializes in creating actionable strategies for building partnerships across difference for private, non-profit and governmental agencies in the public lands sphere.

    She is a GIS Specialist focused on using spatial data to illuminate inequities in access to outdoor spaces, allowing the data to inform strategy development and to create visual storytelling tools and interactive maps.

    Eva is part of the two-parent team behind Northwest Family Daycation, a community-based program created in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and she sits on the Advisory Board for the national nonprofit OutGrown.

    Most recently, she stepped onto the Board of Directors for the Intertwine Alliance, where she serves as Vice President.
